The following instructions
are applicable to both Exadata Database and Storage Servers.
All the installation steps to be executed by root.
1) Download the patch to
/tmp and unzip p33178651_2011200_Linux-x86_64.zip
# cd /tmp
# unzip /tmp/p33178651_2011200_Linux-x86-64.zip
2) Backup the existing copy of /opt/oracle.SupportTools/sundiag.sh
# cp /opt/oracle.SupportTools/sundiag.sh /opt/oracle.SupportTools/sundiag.sh_33178651
3) Copy fixed version of sundiag.sh (/tmp/sundiag.sh) to /opt/oracle.SupportTools/sundiag.sh
# cd /tmp
# cp sundiag.sh
/opt/oracle.SupportTools/sundiag.sh
cp: overwrite
/opt/oracle.SupportTools/sundiag.sh? y
#
4) Run sundiag script to collect the diagnostics
# /opt/oracle.SupportTools/sundiag.sh
